Lolita
SBD003 Gwen & Bertrand Dupart - Lolita / April 2009
Gwen & Bertrand Dupart
Third release from the french talented house label, Lolita is a house track coming from the briliant collaboration of ex-Africanism member Gwen and Bertrand Dupart. Quite reminding as well of works of people such as Kings Of Tomorrow or Mood II Swing, that track captures the essence of pure instrumental house tracks.
The remix comes from Rocco, who earned more and more big attention due to his admirative releases on Freerange, and famous remixes of Dennis Ferrer and Claude Monnet. Main mix is a stunning house tune with a fat kick, and reminds us of Pete Heller's tracks, while Rooco's remix is more techy and deep, but brings you a sort of groove you feel in your chest.
Lolita already got some real big attention from other labels and talented producers like Yass who gave full support on that release and play both the main mix and rocco remix on high rotation. Lolita is highly expected from everyobody on the house scene.
